Colombian by birth. British by naturalisation.
After finishing my degree on Graphic design I worked on editorial design for 5 years at one of Colombia’s largest publishing Company.
Then I travelled to Great Britain in 2000 looking to expand on my traditional animation skills at Central Saint Martins in London. That same year I was offered a job as an animator at renown design studio Blueberry in London’s Chelsea Harbour. From there I hopped onto a long haul position as a senior animation at Now Wash Your Hands, another well known design studio based in Soho.
Six years later I became an independent animation designer and director, working on a variety of fields including television, exhibitions, installations and games. In 2012 I founded Studio Tinto aiming to make room in my commercial portfolio for my own animated stories.
